Referring a patient

Referrals are welcome from GPs and consultant colleagues. I aim to see urgent cases promptly and to provide a clear, prompt clinic letter after each consultation.

How to refer

Please send referrals, with relevant correspondence and investigations, to [email protected], or telephone +44 (0)1483 000000 to discuss a case.

Useful information to include

• The clinical question and reason for referral
• Relevant history, examination and current medication
• Any ECGs, ambulatory monitoring, echocardiography or blood results
• Insurer and membership details, or confirmation of self-funding

Urgent advice

For time-critical clinical advice, please telephone rather than email. Patients with acute symptoms — chest pain, syncope, or haemodynamic compromise — should be managed through the emergency pathway (999 / ED).
